ABOUT ME

Lisa has held many roles in the construction industry in both the public and private sectors spanning across 30 years and has developed a passion for the built environment.

She loves the diversity of working in construction including the daily challenges of being on site and the mate-ships that have developed. Lisa is a true advocate of women in the construction industry, as the Current Patron for NAWIC ACT Lisa believes that there is a real and significant place for women in skilled and leadership roles in the industry. Lisa is a driven and highly personable individual with solid adaptive commercial skills built throughout her career in hospitality, government, aged care, education, sport administration and coaching, construction and not-for-profit.

She has a proven track record as a change agent providing executive strategic and managerial leadership to achieve business objectives, growth and sustainability. As the Company System Manager for Project Coordination, Lisa’s focus is on achieving proactive service to ensure the quality and consistency of operations. Lisa’s drive, determination and proactive service based leadership have contributed to award winning outcomes for many projects over the last 7 years. Lisa is a skilled and knowledgeable mentor drawing on her 30 years’ of experience and believes that we all have something to offer.

Lisa is the driving force behind NAWIC ACT professional development program. Through mentoring she is able to encourage people to understand their values and worth offering them a sense of purpose and direction. As a mentor in both her professional and personal life Lisa empowers people to find their passion, evaluate their strengths so they can excel in their chosen role or vocation.
