EXECUTIVE COACHING PACKAGE
WOMEN & LEADERSHIP AUSTRALIA'S COACHING EXPERTISE
Women & Leadership Australia's approach to coaching is based on extensive knowledge of developing and delivering programs and events that centre on leadership development. We work with the coaching participant to ascertain the most suitable approach based on the goals and objectives of the participant.
WLA'S COACHING METHODOLOGY
WLA has designed a rigorous, best-practice approach to coaching which adheres to the code of ethics established by the International Coach Federation. Through this approach, the participant commits to a considered Development Action Plan aligned with the needs of their stakeholders. The aim of this approach is to equip participants with tangible strategies to enable them to work on their individual challenges. The approach is built on four key elements.

1. INTEGRATED FRAMEWORK
WLA’s framework consists of distinct work phases which identify developmental needs and provide tailored developmental outcomes.
3. PROVEN TOOLS & TECHNIQUES
All tools used by coaches have been thoroughly tried and tested and are subject to on-going development and refinement.
One size does not fit all. In order to maximise the impact of coaching, participants’ individual needs are assessed and outcomes are designed accordingly.
2. FOCUSED ON THE INDIVIDUAL
4. EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE
All coaches have extensive experience in coaching participants from a wide range of backgrounds and at varying levels of seniority.

COACHING SESSIONS WILL UTILISE THE FOLLOWING PROCESS:
1 . COACHING CONTRACT
The coach and the participant sign off on an agreement concerning the coaching objectives, responsibilities and expected outcomes. A confidentiality agreement is also completed.
2. BUILDING THE RELATIONSHIP
The coach and participant get to know one another, exchange information and map out the coaching process and activities. The relationship builds over time, focusing on what is most critical to the well-being and growth of the individual.
3. FACT FINDING AND FEEDBACK
Additional assessment tools may be used to develop a more complete picture of how the individual’s style, personality and behaviour are related to 'on the job' effectiveness. This information is used to identify development opportunities, providing a foundation for a professional development action plan.
4. GOAL SETTING
The coach works with the individual to ensure the quality and viability of the development plan. Specifically, the coach reviews the plan to ensure:
1. It is focused. Priorities are kept clear and manageable
2. It is specific. It outlines specific behaviours that will be changed or improved
3. It is realistic. Goals are achievable and actions feasible
4. It addresses needs in a variety of ways
5. COACHING TO THE GOALS
The coach works with the participant to ensure that goals are being achieved, that learning is ongoing and that new issues are being dealt with effectively.
6. CLOSURE AND PLANNING THE NEXT STEPS
The coach and the participant review the achievements to date and evaluate ongoing development needs and the participant’s confidence in continuing their development journey independently. They may also reassess the process and revise the development plan.
